Junior Artist (d/w/m) - 80-100%

Gentle Troll is looking for a Junior Artist for our team in Würzburg.

You have a strong aesthetic sense, can draw on different graphic styles, and have already gained experience in the games industry? Then join us and realize exciting projects with the team!

What you bring:

• Strong artistic base - You know how to use shapes, colors, and lights to communicate ideas and create moods. You can create quick sketches and mockups and know how to implement feedback and iterate on an idea.
• Game Development Experience - You have created assets for games before and are at least familiar with the requirements of visuals during game production.
• 2D skills - You are familiar with Photoshop or similar tools and are comfortable creating characters, icons and maybe even animate with 2D tools, e.g. Spine Animation.
• You love games and are willing to learn new programs and tools (e.g. VFX or 3D assets), or to improve your workflow.
• You are communicative and like to work in a team - You have your own ideas which you present to the team, and you like to get involved in the whole production process
• You are fluent in German and have a good understanding of English.

Bonus:

• 3D - You are familiar with the basics of 3D and maybe even work in Blender.
• UI - You are comfortable creating Interfaces in Photoshop, ideally for different platforms, and maybe even have implemented your graphics in Unity before
• Engine experience - You have worked with Unity before and know how to implement graphics, set up a scene, and different lighting setups.
